The Property’s principal entrance is at 28 Penywern Road where guests are welcomed at a generously sized reception/lounge area on the ground floor. The ground floor also includes a communial area adjacent to the lounge, with two large oak dining tables, a number of work stations, and a comfortable seating area. This provides both leisure and corporate guests the ideal environment to unwind, relax, and catch up on work. The ground floor also includes some letting guestrooms and, to the rear, there is a spacious breakfast room which overlooks the garden.
The upper floors and lower ground floor of the main building are accessed by an eight-person lift as well as two staircases and comprise guestrooms at each level. 22 Penywern Road, a single town house two doors down from the Property’s principal entrance, provides guestrooms on each floor, with access provided by a five-person lift and one staircase, with guests returning to the main building’s public areas for breakfast and check in/out. Staff offices are located at ground floor level and a to-be constructed external building in the garden. The Property benefits from centralised air conditioning and wifi connectivity throughout.
To the rear of the Property, a two-storey building is being developed, which will include nine guestrooms. Work commenced in November 2015 and will be completed by the end of February 2016, to coincide with practical completion of the overall refurbishment. The garden area will be landscaped and provide outdoor seating and an additional building to house staff rooms,plant and machinery.
